Poolside with one of the crown jewels of the collection…
This Medina aquamarine is the kind of crystal that reminds me why the hunt never ends.
At first glance, the color grabs you—crystal-clear ocean blues illuminated by the sun. But it’s the etching that takes this specimen into another category entirely. Every face is covered with intricate natural geometric patterns, creating a maze of textures, windows, and growth features that transform the crystal into a work of geological art.
What makes this piece even more special is the termination. An absolutely insane etched cube dominates the top of the crystal, creating an architectural look that feels almost impossible for nature to have produced. The combination of sharp geometry, transparency, and deep natural etching is something you simply don’t encounter often, even among top Medina material.
Filmed poolside under natural sunlight, the crystal comes alive with flashes of icy blue, silver reflections, and endless internal depth. Every angle reveals something new.
Collector grade. One of my favorite aquamarines. And absolutely NFS.
