This extraordinary Denton Mine fluorite is one of those rare specimens that checks every box—razor-sharp cubic architecture, electric purple-over-honey zoning, scattered chalcopyrite accents, and a glow that seems to come from within. Backlit, the crystal transforms into a stained-glass masterpiece, revealing layer upon layer of growth patterns and color saturation that made Harris Creek fluorite legendary.

What makes this piece even more special is its provenance. Formerly from the collection of Harris Precht Jr. (409), and acquired from Rick Russell in the early 1980s, it carries a collector history that traces back to the golden era of Illinois fluorite collecting.

A true top-shelf Denton classic and one of those pieces that will always have a home in my personal collection.
