DENTON MINE ROYALTY…
This Illinois Fluorite is everything collectors dream about when they think of classic Harris Creek material. Deep royal-purple cubic crystals frame an absolutely glowing honey-amber core, creating that legendary “blurple and gold” contrast that made the Denton Mine world-famous.
The zoning on this specimen is unreal. Hold it to the light and the entire piece comes alive — rich violet edges surrounding warm golden fire with incredible depth and transparency. Tiny dark inclusions scattered throughout the fluorite add even more character, while sparkling calcite drapes across the top like fresh frost on a masterpiece.
The composition is pure eye candy. Intergrown cubes stacked at different angles create a sculptural, architectural aesthetic that feels uniquely Illinois. Every turn reveals new windows of color, new layers of zoning, and another reason why Denton fluorites remain among the most coveted American classics.
An absolute next-level cabinet specimen from one of the most legendary fluorite localities ever worked.
