Knicks up 2-0 in the Finals and somehow this Illinois fluorite is still stealing the spotlight…

Celebration mode is fully activated, and what better way to enjoy the moment than with one of the finest color combinations Southern Illinois ever produced.

This Minerva No. 1 Mine classic glows with rich honey-amber fluorite stacked in sharp geometric cubes, accented by scattered metallic chalcopyrite crystals sprinkled throughout the specimen like nature’s confetti. The contrast is unreal—golden internal fire, delicate purple zoning along the cube edges, and just enough chalcopyrite to give the piece extra character.

The deeper you look, the more details emerge. Glassy faces. Incredible transparency. Those legendary Illinois colors that keep feeding the addiction.

Tonight the Knicks are rolling. The fluorite is glowing. Life is good.

Fluorite with Chalcopyrite Minerva No. 1 Mine Cave-In-Rock Mining District, Hardin County, Illinois, USA
