An absolutely electric hot-pink Cobaltoan Calcite from the Mashamba West–Dikulwe Mine, Mutshatsha, Lualaba Province, Democratic Republic of the Congo — completely loaded with juicy, rounded crystals exploding across the matrix.

The color is RIDICULOUS. Deep neon raspberry, magenta and bubblegum-pink tones with beautiful luster and incredible contrast against the matrix. It almost looks too saturated to be natural… but that’s the magic of cobalt-bearing Calcite.
