ILLINOIS FLUORITE ROYALTY.

Just an overview of some of my most coveted Fluorites — with a few beauties from other legendary locales sprinkled into the mix.

But for me… NOTHING compares to Illinois Fluorite.

The intensity of the colors is just on another level. Electric blues, deep purples, golden yellows, fiery oranges, pinks, incredible zoning — sometimes multiple colors exploding through a single crystal.

And it’s not just the color. The architecture, phantoms, modified edges, crazy combinations and sheer personality of these pieces are what keep pulling me deeper into the obsession.

The Cave-in-Rock District of Hardin County, Illinois produced some of the most visually spectacular Fluorites I’ve ever seen, and the great mines like Minerva No. 1, Denton, Annabel Lee and Minerva No. 2 have become a huge focus of my collection.

Every time I think I’ve seen the ultimate Illinois piece… another one surfaces and completely resets the bar.

These aren’t just colorful cubes to me. They’re pieces of mining history, natural sculpture, and absolutely insane Earth’s art.

The Illinois Fluorite hunt has me HOOKED — and the hunt continues…
