This combination is absolutely ridiculous.

An incredible Dioptase with Mimetite from the N’tola Mine, Mindouli District, Pool Department, Republic of the Congo — loaded with intensely saturated emerald-green Dioptase surrounded by brilliant golden-yellow Mimetite.

The contrast is what makes this piece hit so hard. Sharp, glassy Dioptase crystals seem to explode across the specimen, while the vibrant yellow Mimetite creates this wild green-and-gold landscape of color, texture, and crystal architecture.

Under the lights, that Dioptase absolutely GLOWS. Every rotation reveals another pocket of color and another crystal catching the light.

This is why I love Congo minerals — bold colors, unusual associations, and specimens that look almost too crazy to have formed naturally.
