A NEW ADDITION TO THE UKRAINIAN ETCHED HELIODOR FLEET

Another one has officially joined the family… and the etching on this beast is absolutely ridiculous.

This spectacular Heliodor from Volodarsk-Volynskii, Zhytomyr Oblast, Ukraine is pure natural sculpture. The entire crystal is carved with deep, complex dissolution patterns—terraces, channels, geometric steps and razor-like textures running throughout the crystal.

And then there’s that color. Hold it to the light and it absolutely ignites with a rich golden-yellow glow, while the darker outer surfaces create insane contrast and depth.

These heavily etched Ukrainian beryls have become one of my favorite things to collect. Each one has its own architecture, its own personality, and no two are ever remotely the same.

The etched Heliodor fleet keeps growing… and this one fits right in.
