The fluorite is just ridiculous — sharp, glassy cubes with incredible purple, magenta, red and orange zoning, creating layer after layer of color. Then those contrasting golden Calcite crystals explode off the fluorite and take the whole composition to another level.

It’s the kind of Illinois piece that keeps getting better the longer you look at it. Great crystal architecture, wild color contrast, beautiful associations and tons of personality packed into one specimen.
