Electric Illinois glass with pedigree
A stunning barite and calcite on fluorite from the Sub-Rosiclare Level, Annabel Lee Mine (Ozark-Mahoning Co.), Harris Creek District, Southern Illinois—showing that unreal blue-violet fluorite with crisp cubic zoning and incredible translucency. The thin plate glows like stained glass, with subtle purple edges framing that electric blue core.
Topped with delicate barite and calcite accents, adding texture and contrast without taking away from the bold fluorite presence.
Mined c. 1986–1989 and carrying Tolonen Collection provenance—bringing true history and collector significance to an already standout piece.
Classic Illinois color… elevated.
