ROSICLARE LEVEL DENTON HEATER…
Absolute classic out of the legendary Denton Mine—this fluorite with chalcopyrite hits with that unmistakable Rosiclare Level energy collectors chase. Rich golden-yellow core wrapped in deep purple zoning, with stacked cubic growth showing off those frosted, slightly etched faces that give it that raw, old-school Illinois character.
The contrast here is everything… that warm honey base glowing through while the purple caps bring the depth and structure. Subtle chalcopyrite presence adds that extra layer of association collectors love to see from the Harris Creek Mining Sub-District.
Mined circa 1980 and carrying serious provenance—formerly in the Ross Lillie collection—this one checks all the boxes: locality, era, color, and history. Pieces like this aren’t just specimens… they’re part of the story of American fluorite.
Old material, classic look, undeniable presence.
