LEAD HILL LEGEND…
This one has that unmistakable old-school Southern Illinois energy collectors dream about. Incredible stacked cubic growth glowing with rich sunset honey tones wrapped in deep violet zoning — the kind of contrast that made Hardin County fluorite world famous.
What really gets me here is the architecture… overlapping cubes with natural stepped growth and that slightly weathered, cave-in pocket character giving it serious personality. Under light, the internal amber core absolutely ignites while the purple edges frame every cube perfectly.
Classic material from the Lead Hill Mine Cave-In Pocket, Hardin County, Illinois — and pieces with this much warmth, color interplay, and sculptural presence just hit different.
Pure Illinois magic.
