Sitting here slowly twirling some of my favorite crystals in the light and every single one is putting on a show. Natural unheated Tanzanite flashing electric blue, violet, and deep burgundy pleochroism… etched Ukrainian Heliodor glowing radioactive lemon-gold… icy gem Vietnam Aquamarine with insane liquid transparency… a legendary Washington DC Pocket Cruzeiro tourmaline packed with saturation… fiery Paprok tourmaline colors shifting like a sunset… and a super saturated Buks Claim Namibia amethyst bringing that unreal blurple glow and glassy luster into the mix.

Completely different minerals, different localities, different energy — but all carrying that elite natural perfection that keeps me obsessed with the hunt. Watching these crystals come alive under desk light and natural daylight never gets old.
