Five electric blue Paraíba tourmalines frozen in quartz… from the legendary São José da Batalha mine, Paraíba, Brazil
The original Paraíba locality that changed the gem world forever. Discovered in the late 1980s, the São José da Batalha mine became famous for producing the impossibly vivid copper-bearing neon blues and greens that collectors became obsessed with. True Paraíba from this historic deposit is incredibly scarce today — especially aesthetic specimens preserved on and in quartz like these.
The contrast of that electric glow against icy white quartz is absolutely unreal. Tiny collector-grade treasures with insane saturation, sharp crystal form, and the unmistakable “lit from within” appearance only genuine Paraíba tourmaline can produce.
These are not easy to replace… and finding five together from the original Paraíba locality is next level.
